8.20.09 – Day 45 – DAY 2 JUICE FEAST

Second day of this juice feast and I already want food!!! I need to make more juice – I’m sure of it – so that I don’t sit here and crave stuff all day long. Just had a tablespoon of bee pollen (allowed) and it really helped. I feel completely and totally exhausted now. I have basically been running to the bathroom for two days now, although in the moment, at 1:00 p.m., it’s started to calm down a lot. How can I be eating (or not eating) this healthy, taking all of these supplements, doing regular colonics, and feel this horrid? I keep telling myself that it is my body healing, and to give it a chance. I have to believe that all of this feasting, cleansing, colonics, and meditation is doing something positive! Actually, thinking of it that way, it isn’t really that long, is it? I mean, time flies by so fast and it’s truly amazing to me that it’s already the second day, and that I’ve been doing raw (mainly) for 44 days as of today. That’s pretty amazing, and the time has gone by so quickly really. When did I start? Um – wow. July 7. That just wasn’t that long ago. I have to try harder to really stick with this in a huge way. Really. A lot of other people have done it for 92 days. That were a lot older and sicker. I can do this. I want to do this!! Have got my fourth colonic tomorrow – yay! We’ll see. It all depends on Annette’s schedule. Definitely weepy today – more than I’ve been. And very tired. Am staying at Bonnie’s today and tomorrow, so that will really help things along, so that I don’t have to expend too much extra energy in the back and forth to work, etc. In the meantime, in the moment, trying to focus on getting through the rest of the day, and then I’m off to find a nearby Whole Foods Market – whoo-hoo!!! I just discovered that there was one semi-close to here last night. Want to get more coconuts and yummy organic fruits and veggies to put into the juicer. Also, I’m hoping that they have nut mylk bags, but we’ll see. Okay, I can do this – one day at a time.

1 quart water w/lemon
1 quart green juice – spring mix, kale, celery, ginger, garlic, parsley, carrot, cucumber
2 cups coconut water w/Greener Grasses
1 quart green juice – spring mix, kale, celery, ginger, garlic, parsley, carrot, cucumber
1 tbl bee pollen
1 quart water
1 quart greens, blueberries, apples – sooooo-oooo-oooo good!!!
3 cups coconut water w/Greener Grasses
1 pint pineapple juice – yum!!
1 quart green juice – kale, beet greens, spinach, sprouts, apple, carrot, beet, ginger, garlic, celery, cucumber, dandelion greens – yummmmm!!!!

Exercise:

10 minutes walking
30 minutes yoga
