9.17.09 – Day 73 Raw - DAY 30 JUICE FEAST!!!
Day 30 of my juice feast and I’ve earned every second of it! At least it feels that way. This has been a week full of straight emotional upheaval. They say that emotions are also released on this feast, so I’m going to believe that’s what’s happening, but it’s been crazy-intense. I’m still in though, even though I’ve been taking some Advil and Esgic. I can’t handle the constant body pain and headaches, etc., and I’m not trying to be a martyr – just heal my body. Soooo tired today too. Really exhausted. Have a hair appointment tonight with Mara (finally) so can’t go straight home and to bed. Then I have to juice some for tomorrow, since I’m driving to Baltimore. It really does feel so much better to have the juice prepped and ready to go every day – rather than having to worry about making it here at work. All that I really want to do is to go straight home and pass out. Managed to walk today – yes! First time in forever. And was reading on the juicefeasting website to wait until Day 30-45 to start doing the weights – which is good since I have the energy of a slug right now (do slugs actually have a lot of energy? That’s the second time I’ve thought that in two days). Anyway, I can start pumping for it then. Just thrilled that I walked for 30 minutes today. When do I start to feel amazing? Can absolutely feel the lack of colonics. Still have to wait until next Thursday – ugh!

9.21.09 – Day 77 Raw - DAY 34 JUICE FEAST!!! – 167.6 lbs – Total weight loss: 14.2 lbs
Day 34 of the juice feast and I feel a lot better today than I did a week ago. Last week was hands-down the toughest so far. It feels like things are starting to unwind a lot now from that tumultuousness. More intense than anything I’ve been through for a while. 2 ½ days of straight crying – yuck. I am hoping that I released a ton of emotions. The scale is only showing a 1 lb weight loss for the entire week, which is disappointing to say the least, but my gut is telling me just to hang on. I see Annette on Wednesday and Karen on Sunday – so 2 colonics this week – thank Goddess!!! It’s been forever, it seems, and I definitely feel it in a major way. I have started doing enemas every day no matter what, but it just isn’t even close to the same thing – not even a little bit!! I’m definitely pumped for Thursday when Annette gets back in town. My face is totally broken out and I feel completely toxic – it’s kind of awful, but just goes to show the benefit of the colonics. Started the Chanca Piedra on the 30th day, so feels like things are (slowly) moving forward. I keep telling myself to totally stick with this because it took so much to get geared to do it, and I know that for the most part, people that do this don’t usually jump right back into the water afterwards, so this is likely it for a long time for me – at least at this level. I want to make the most of things now. I can do this!!! I still want to lose 39.6 lbs, which feels like a zillion pounds away from where I am. One day at a time, and I can do anything I choose to do.
